If you’re reading this you or someone you know – perhaps your child – has difficulty learning in a traditional classroom. Despite carrying a lot of negative labels – from ‘special needs’ to ‘average intelligence’ – all of these students have tremendous potential and God-given gifts. One of our key goals is to awaken a love of learning, and most of our students just need an environment that meets their individual needs.
We believe that children who learn differently need to be taught differently, with an emphasis on multi-sensory and hands-on experiences.
At Elijah School, we work with students who struggle with:
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
- Asperger’s Syndrome
- Executive Functioning
- Nonverbal Learning Disability
- Other learning differences including social and organizational challenges
